Remembering the Mighty Sam McClainApril 15 marks what would have been Sam McClain’s seventy-fourth birthday.  Throughout his nearly fifty year career in music, Sam touched hearts and souls around the world with his mighty voice.

To his fans, Mighty Sam McClain’s songs are his legacy – a seemingly never-ending reservoir of deeply soulful music. 

To those that had the pleasure of knowing and working with the bluesman, they carry wonderful memories.  With this new series, “Remembering the Mighty Sam McClain”, we asked them to reflect on their time with Sam and share what he and his music meant to them.
