On Azurae, space music pioneer Jonn Serrie further explores the visionary worlds of 2001's Lumia Nights - revisiting the original synth programming, production techniques and cover art utilized on Lumia Nights to create a sense of cohesion and balance. Azurae is an ambient celebration of romantic and spiritual journeys to quantum levels and realms of consciousness beyond the physical universe. The new album will be released on October 25, 2019.

From the moment I heard my first Serriesong—the title track from …AND THE STARS GO WITH YOU—back in 1986 on Music From The Hearts Of Space, I knew this man was a breed apart from all other Electronic New Age musicians. And from the moment I first listened to my cassette of the aforementioned debut album of Jonn Serrie, I knew that he had taken the #1 spot on my list of favorite ENA musicians. I think it might have been Stephen Hill who stated, paraphrasing here, that when it came to this beautifully unique subgenre of New Age music, Jonn’s 1st album “doesn’t get any better than this.” I enthusiastically concur. Jonn is not only gifted with the ability to draw any an all manner of sounds from his array of synthesizers effortlessly, he is ALSO gifted with the ability to conjure up unspeakably beautiful melodies, pertaining to both outer & inner space exploration, flight, journeys to other worlds/dimensions, both real & imagined, and the beauty of meditation and oneness with the Great Universe. His music simply must be heard to be believed, and I am both proud and privileged to call him a friend and fellow traveller. We are blessed beyond words to be sharing our lifetime with his.
