Best known as the lead guitarist for the rock group, Cowboy Mouth and as co-writer for the MTV hit song "China" by the Red Rockers, John Thomas Griffith steps out with his 3rd career solo album entitled, ALUMINUM. The CD has 11 new songs, including the classic tune, "Metropolis", from The Church. Other highlights include his fiery tribute "Southern Girls" and the spirited live track "Keep Me Coming Back". ALUMINUM captures Griffith's soulful, slightly edgy style with a red hot fusion of roots music and laid-back guitar-pop grooves that can be both gritty and R&B-minded at the same time.
